'Twas my first sighting of the beast. It was in rough shape, but I suppose its condition added to its character. Sorry about crappy quality; the angles are awkward, too. It was outside of a garage in Clarendon (DC area people will know the place).

Edit: I forgot to mention, it had T-tops.

Looked like it! You can tell somewhat in the first pic.

Congrats, you found a rare version of a rare car!

Right? It looks rough . And do GN's even have hood ornaments, or is that a regular Regal with GN bages?

I know, it made the discovery all the more exciting! I put it in the first post which never published, and I forgot to mention it. This would be such a cool car to own.

my friends 87 does not have one, honestly I didn't think they had them, but the car has the right wheels and badges and all. Either someone stuck it on, or maybe the older cars came with it. I think, THINK, the very early GN's were carb still also.

Just because I felt this needed a counterpoint.

I have my suspicions. Wouldn't even be slightly surprised if this was a hybrid from a salvage title or write off GN.

I mean, it LOOKS correct, but just... wow

Just to make this thread less GN rat rod-ish
Here is my friends GN with his old impala SS and his marauder

I want to say its a clone. Something about the chrome trim and the ornament just doesn't sit right
